Big thanks to the NCC Community Chest for their grant which will allow us to decorate the Medway block when that gets transferred over to us. This is a two roomed block which used to be classrooms and has stood empty for quite a few years so it needs some TLC. At the moment it is being damaged through vandalism and exposure to the elements but it is a building that means a lot to the local community, as many of us (including me) were taught in these rooms as kids. We will be looking for helping hands to work wonders with paintbrushes when the time comes, which we are hoping will be very soon.

From June 12th, Higher Ground Allendale will begin to permit volunteers back on site. We will be strictly limiting the numbers of volunteers at any given time.

More information is available in the top menu on the website.

The public footpath from Shilburn Road to the exits at the bottom remains open. Thank you to everyone for observing these restrictions during this difficult time. We'll be up and running soon but for now, let's stay sensible.
