Here it is! After having so much interest in the prospect of an apple tree grafting workshop, Honest Graft who are a community interest company from Newcastle who work with community orchards, are coming to run a fantastic workshop for our project next month.
It will be on Sunday 24th March, 10:00am-1:00pm on the Higher Ground site. We will be indoors if the weather is rubbish and out outside if it’s nice.
You will be invited to graft two trees for your garden which are included in the cost, and you will be given the option to purchase additional ones should you wish to graft more.
The workshop is £30 and all materials and refreshments are included. Places are strictly limited so contact us to reserve your place, for this workshop we require payment in advance. Proceeds will go towards our garden project in Allendale where we will have our own community orchard in the future.
