Well hello winter! This cold spell has seen frosty, icy days on site, the ground being frozen solid and being able to see our breath even inside our building! We can’t function using the massive, industrial storage heaters left over from the building’s former life as a school classroom, they’re just extortionately expensive, so now we are applying for grants to find an alternative heating solution. At the moment the solution is thermals and a sunny disposition.
The other day we had a visit from local blogger Larry Winger who writes about life and goings on in the Allen valleys and he was visibly freezing, but still wrote a lovely complimentary piece about us and the project which you can read here…. more updates to come!
